BELOVED Winter Retreat 2026
January 9-11, 2026
Mission Springs Conference Center
Scotts Valley, CA
Dear Beloved!
We’re so excited to invite you to our upcoming winter retreat: BREAKTHROUGH — a theme based on our church’s 2026 theme PARATZ. This will be a special time to kick off 2026 with the Lord and our Beloved family.
Scripture says in Micah 2:13 that “the One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out.” God goes before us, breaking down barriers, opening what once felt closed, and leading us forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, weary, expectant, or hungry for more, this retreat is an invitation to trust Him as the One who makes a way.
In a season where many pressures (including good things) compete for our hearts, God is calling us to a deeper relationship with Him- to walk closely with Him, to surrender what holds us back, and to grow together as His people. We believe He wants to move powerfully in our individual lives and among us as a community.
Join us for a short but sweet time of worship, reflection, community, and joy as we seek God together and step into the BREAKTHROUGH He is bringing.
Hope to see you January 9-11! ♡
“The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”
— Micah 2:13

Retreat Speaker
Pastor Paul Dubé
Pastor Paul Dubé was born to a French-Canadian father and a Korean mother and currently serves as the pastor of Mosaic Youth Ministry at New Community Baptist Church, where he has been ministering to students for nearly a decade. He is passionate about walking alongside the next generation and raising up disciples who will, in turn, disciple others.
In addition to his role at NCBC, Pastor Paul mentors high school campus leaders through Decision Point, a ministry that equips students to share the gospel and lead outreach at their schools. He also serves as a director with Horizon Ministry, a Bay Area network of youth ministries sharpening and building up youth leaders for the gospel. P. Paul is also the host of the popular Gen Z Podcast, where he explores hot-button issues and current cultural trends through a biblical lens—helping believers think critically and faithfully about the world around them.
P. Paul received his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Patterson University (2013) and earned his Master of Divinity from Gateway Seminary (2018). He sensed a call to youth ministry at the age of 21 and has continued faithfully in that calling ever since.
P. Paul and his wife, Munkyung, have two beautiful children, Ludia and Mosé. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, cooking, playing guitar, and watching tech videos.
